Anyone have any tricks or ideas for keeping the toyota all season mats in place? The drivers one is fine with the clips but the passenger moves around a ton. All I can think of is velcro. Hoping someone smarter than me can help out lol

Bolt it down with 8" bolts.
Screw it on with 8" screws.
Velcro it to the floor with 8" strips of Velcro.
Super glue it with 8" of glue.
Tape it with 8" pieces of tape.
Get an 8" suction cup and suction it down.

Although I don't have a good suggestion for you with what you have, but I can suggest weather tech's laser fit or the Husky liners. I have the weather techs and they've been great

I've had the same issue in the past with other vehicles. As you mentioned, velcro is what I used to take care of it. Good luck!

Don't do this, adding Velcro will void the warranty and say good by to 50 hp.

True. Maybe use 8" stickers and stick it down to the floor. That way the floor mats stick to the floor, AND you get 30+ HP.

    No passenger.

No passenger with feet on floor.

No passenger with moving feet on floor.

No passenger that weighs a ton.

Replace cheap-o OE mats with Huskys. Or buy my WeatherTechs so I can.

Edit. Nevermind about buying my WeatherTechs. Overlooked you were 3gen. Won't fit.

Better yet, delete the matts for 15HP, cover the floorboard with stickers. With all the stickers you'd need to cover the floor, you'd probably gain 75HP over stock!!!!!

Pop-n-lock tailgate. New radio knobs. Rear step.
Get Velcro strips without adhesive backing. Glue these strips to floormat using RTV silicone. This is the only adhesive that has worked reliably for me.

As others have stated, velcro. You can put just the hook side on the bottom of the mat and it'll stick into the carpet quite well. That's how I keep my amp under my drivers seat from sliding around.

I used rtv adhesive to glue a 1.5 ft. length of low profile industrial strength Velcro to the underside edge of the Husky mat that lays over the top of the door opening trim. I used the Velcro hook portion on the door opening trim piece with the standard peel/stick adhesive on the Velcro. I used the low profile Velcro in order to avoid creating a raised lip on the leading edge of the mat. Holding up well so far.
