Ha! By that logic I could say that a Chevy Camero is just like an Enzo Ferrari.

Im looking at more the early 2000s. Those are really the only ones in my price range. Would you guys familiar with these trucks fell comfortable buying one with 180k+ miles? What are some things to look out for when looking at the trucks?

The early ones had frame rust issues. And you want to make sure the timing belt has been changed, FWIW, I got my 05 with +70k miles on the clock for $14k out the door.

What was wrong with the frames? I hope they are not similar to the tacoma frames. And I would love a 04+ but my price point is about half of that.

That sounds like a decent deal. I priced one using KBB in my area and it came back at $8k (used your description and assumed some options).

Oh and don't be surprised if doesn't have a locker. The Tundy TRD package is just shocks and wheels.

No first gen tundra came with a factory locker. Tow packages came with LSD only.
RSCA = Rear Side Curtain Airbags.

You can turn off the side airbags while wheeling.

Does it have the tow package?
You can check to see if it has a FACTORY tow hitch and transmission cooler.
