You think they do this at the Roush in Livonia?

I remember they were doing emissions testing on the Frontier last year.

I can verify these are real and do pay out. You don't have to do anything and rejecting is free.

Why can't Toyota just pull a truck or two off the assembly line? What's the point of pestering current owners?

Not in this lifetime. Add a zero to the check and a 100k mile warranty and then, maybe.

    /face palm....

$300 wasn't for rental... It was going to be given to OP after truck testing complete... Toyota can loan him a loaner vehicle for FREE so he can get around in meantime.

I read that as him saying Toyota would be renting the OP's truck for $300.

150 miles and how many hours of idling and revving while sitting still ? I wouldn’t take $300 bucks for it to sit on their lot overnight.

It says they would do it in Ann Arbor at the Toyota tech center.

They sent me a letter for my 2014 FJC at the Ann Arbor facility also.

Note that it's really for CARB and I wouldn't help those venomous snakes if they were in a Santa Ana wind event and they were holding burning torches. It was just a tank of gas and $100 when they sent me the letter but I still wouldn't do it for $300 so CARB can find some way to screw manufacturers over.

I live just south of Jackson, they do look for owners reasonably close to the test facility if possible.

I think CARB is on the way out here shortly, good riddance.

Where did you read that? It would be wonderful. You can't buy a gas power lawn mower, blower or weed trimmer in California anymore. These are the same group of people that stopped grocery stores from using paper bags (years ago) and start using plastic bags. They didn't do their homework and now plastic bags are destroying the environment. I can only scream.

If I am not mistaken it's part of the Transportation Freedom Act, provided it passes as law.

I like to sleep in my truck.
I work for toyota. They heavily emphasize your participation and they send it to a bunch of customers. Do it! It's testing of the first gen for future updates. It's a good thing for all toyots owners.
