Toyota Wants to Scan My Frame

    Interesting, are they afraid if they put the vehicles up on a lift a frame might decide to do the bendy bend and turn into a V?

    What years are they doing?

    I’m going on the 18th to Woburn Toyota. I don’t think it takes 2 hrs. Maybe they need to say that just in case. I’ll advise once I go.

    LOL - they just called me back and wanted to scan my Tacoma again. Another gift card? I'm in. Tuesday the 15th - Woburn Toyota again.

    This is actually done by Toyota engineers, not the dealer itself, so it is where the hardware is for the scans. They have to lug it around.

    BTW - I too was quoted "2 hours." Today's appointment did not take 2 hours. I got there at 9:33 and went into the wrong service bay. After a quick lane switch, and getting the chat with the cute girl from Toyota Corporate (not a normal Woburn employee), I did the scan and was driving out by 9:40.

    Just a note on the scans for this go around - they are running through lane 3 again, but you get to drive your own vehicle though, it was super quick, I was in and out in a snap.
