probably just checking for hairline cracks due to a batch of inferior metal.... nothing to worry about.

Not picking a fight, just giving a viewpoint, opposite of yours. You thought you helped.
I like to help people who truly need help, old people, little kids, disabled people or people who have really bad luck in life. Normal people? They should be helping, not taking.

I completely agree with this... it's just not how it came off. 2 people are allowed to have different opinions. Hell, there could 100 opinions, doesn't make them all right. It just proves that everyone has a different take from their previous experiences...
So, when someone comes onto this site and ask for real world advice. I am going to give it to them. Even it they like it or not :amen:

So it took a while but I'm back from the appointment. With a new 2023!

Kidding. It was exactly as Mont Blanc said in post #64. Sounds like Toyota is sending the equipment around to different dealers. It took all of 5 mins and I drove over it myself so I didn't even have to get out of the truck. Should get an email in a couple days with a visa gift card.

So did they say anything? Or just measurements for the sake of measurements and no feedback to you
