So does anyone know if Toyota warranty will cover Tacomas that have been leveled. Just a leveling kit and 33 inch tires? If anyone knows or has been through warranty issues with a lifted/leveled truck please let me know what you have experienced.

Suspension related problems won't be covered. Anything else (radio, engine, etc.,) will be covered unless they can prove that suspension caused whatever problem you're claiming.

I took to the dealer today after noticing a small amount of fluid under the truck where it was parked. They said that the power steering pump is bad and that they wont cover it under warranty. Its a 2016 TRD Off Road with 13k miles on it. So I dont know what the deal is?

They should cover it. Call corporate Toyota or go to a different dealer.

They have to prove that the Modifications you made were the cause of what has failed.

Who would be the one to prove that? The dealer I went to said that Toyota would come look at it if I requested them to but he said that he knows that they wont cover it. Said the bigger tires caused it....
I have had lifted trucks my entire life and never had a problem. Ive had over 40 inch tires and they never affected the power steering pump!

Based on my experience so far with Toyota about my clutch, I don't have any faith in them!

The way they look at it is, it takes an extra effort for the pump to handle heavier wheels.

What size lift? You have smaller tires you can put on temporarily?

It is just a leveling block in the front. I dont believe anything in the back. I bought it used like this. There is a spacer on top of the front shocks. No I dont have smaller tires

The lift shouldn't prevent the dealership from telling you that whatever problem you have is "normal." Unless of course the problem is a direct result of the lift. Find another dealer.

If you bought it used just like that and a 2016 it should have the warranty. Unless is states in your contract that they will not cover items because of larger tires as sold to you, it should be covered. I bought my 2017 new lifted with larger tires. Not 33'sure but still larger. I made sure I had full coverage on everything with those items.

I have contacted the dealer that I bought it from as they are 3 hours away. They stated that it should be covered. So Im waiting to hear back from them as to what the next step I should take is.

Good, hopefully they can work something out with the dealer closer to you. Good luck

Bilstein/Icon 2" suspension lift with wheelers 5 leaf springs, 7-pin relocate through bumper, bfg KO2s, redline hood struts, immryo mirror relocation, stubby antenna, dipped emblem, heated mirrors, Jason trek cap, led fogs, debadged
31s are the stock size for six lug trucks. I'm utterly confused.
