Say it slowly, pronounce each word, then think it thru. It’s pretty plain English.

Dude, I'm a forensic engineer who's worked for three different auto makers over the years, believe it or not, I know a hell of a lot about all manner of forced induction as it applies to automotive, aviation, and marine engines; the benefits and drawbacks of each type of compressor, and what kind of wear and tear such components put on the rest of the vehicle. Regarding this warranty you're so proud of, put up or shut up, tell us what it covers; I'll bet dollars to donuts it won't do diddly for you if you end up, like the OP of this thread, lunching your automatic transmission.

like I said before, I already gave the info for who to talk to and where I went, if it doesn’t satisfy you it’s not my concern.
    Go ask and learn yourself.
As far as Forced induction, Toyota didn’t mKe the first gens 3.4 with SC in mind, it was added after the fact. There are literally thousands of them still driving on the highway, even without the 7th injector mod, running more psi than intended with a smaller pulley.
Same with second gen, magnuson made the SC for Toyota. Engine was made to handle NA and FI of at least 8psi.
My motor, same, running 8 psi. There are thousands of them on the road. How many grenaded trans have you heard of?? please, I don’t care what you did for a living, your opinion is still moot.

Sorry bubba, in the words of Carl Sagan, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." That means "extraordinary evidence" by the claimant (that would be you); so, you made the claim, put up or shut up.

OP, could you please edit your first post to state you are not going to hire a lawyer. Salty bois apparently won’t tire of driving home the point that it’s a bad idea. I’m interested in your finding and what YOU have to say in this thread, but there’s a whole lot of extraneous comments all saying the same thing in ever more creatively rude and condescending ways. Thanks again.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
I installed a set of RCV CVs on the front of my truck along with a wicked cool Cummins turbo setup. The front diff blew out my brand new 5.88 Nitro gears. I am going to get my lawyer engaged to sue Toyota because they refuse to warranty the broken parts even though I have a 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty! This is total BS!! For those who didn't note the font change, I was using "Sarcasm".

Did I call you a name? You’re the one calling yourself a forensic engineer. This is laughable

I love when people pull the "I'm an engineer card". They have some sort of engineering degree that has zero to do with automotive industry, but They still come around telling everyone they are wrong lol.

Alright guys so heres where Im at

Currently going to pick up taco to take to my 3rd party (sorry work 7 days a week from 3 am to 5pm lol) to actually open the trans up to give me an answer.

But after that Im on on a titter totter
Just put in another reman stock AC60F or another gentlemen suggested I contact ITP transmission which I did. Guy named John very nice guy. He said He would be able to do it and yes make it a lot better to coexist with sc. But Toyota is definitely expensive in their parts so its a hefty bill. Id have to ship from TX to NJ.

Now I am currently trying ti get everything lined up so I can have the right dollar amount ( don’t worry about $ its a lot lol)

So with this SC did any of you guys have to purchase the Tuner to reflash the SC after new installation of trans?

The Magnuson tuner is like $900 yikes.
Its going to cost me selling my Indian Scout bobber ( sadly) to probably cover everything. But I don’t ride anymore. So no worries.

This is a process and will take some time to get everything going and done but if I do send to NJ and it gets beefed up. I will have Super Taco.

I was already in the process of selling it since I got a little dude on the way and my girl doesn’t want me riding around. Recently had a wreck where I decided to flip a bunch. So either way its going to work out but when the 3rd party gives me an answer on the problem I will contact Toyota just to notify them of the results.

OP how much psi of boost are you pushing with the SC? Did you install a canned tune after installing it, or have it custom tuned by the shop that installed it?

I ask because if you're running mild boost I wouldn't waste the money on upgrading the transmission, just repair or replace it. But if you're taking double digits worth of psi then you should have it tuned by someone who knows what they're doing and upgrade your trans.

Bottom line, more boost = more $$$

if you're not prepared for the consequences of your own actions, don't cry about it when you can't get someone else to pick up the slack. that's not flaming or even a comment on superchargers, that's just common sense. if i had money to burn, i'd love to install a supercharger. more power to you. (literally.)

Yea she just a mild not the spicy so you might be right on that. It probably is a good idea to wait on upgrading tranny until they actually come out with some 3rd party trans mods. Honestly its going to be pretty cheap to do now that i’m 3rd party but they are going to take a look at current just to try to tell me what exactly happened. I just want to know at this point.

No, my SC came with everything for the install straight from magnuson. Then it was just finding a reputable instalLear which they have all listed on their web site, so i just started calling around to see who had space in their calendar to do it. Ventura toyota was the best price and with them also selling it, it seemed a no brainer.
I have my tactrix cable and they did send over the tune to the dealer, so if i wanted to get it flashed to say the yotawerx tune I can do it since i have the cable.
I have an extra one i can give you, i have the second one from the OVtune i purchased a few years ago, its the same one
