Stock leaf pack with icon AAL so I will be able to delete that lift block and hopefully get rid of the drive line shudder.

I still havent gotten a good C02 mount nailed down, but the last trip I got creative with a ratchet strap and my bedside reinforcement in back and it never budged. What's your bed tie down plan? And why ditch the stock spare, you get a fullsize?

I've got some quick fist mounts I'm going to attempt to use maybe over wheel well laying down... not 100% yet... the bed tie downs I've got the stock d rings going to mount toward the front on the bed bolts. I will be able to tie stuff down to those and then run the other end to the TC bed stiffeners.

Full size matching wheel and tire as a spare hanging out in the garage that doesn't fit under truck. Gunna just throw that in the bed and tie it down. Figured might as well save the weight and not carry 2 spares.

    Wheel bearings assembly both sides.
    New Rotors
    Install skid
    install bed bars and RTT
    Install Bed tiedowns

Clean and pack tent pillows sleeping bags.

As far as Mammoth prep goes.

    Not happening
Replace hard line on steering rack and or replace steering rack (going to run the leak for the trip, pretty sure the rack Detroit axle sent me isn't going to work. )

    Maybe
    Install fox resi shocks.
install leaf spring pack with AAL

    to do
    smog
    Mount CO2 tank in bed
    Remove stock spare
    Clean camp kitchen
    Fluids check

Pumped that the truck fits in garage still with rack and tent.

New wheel bearing on both sides. Driver side was bad for sure. Truck had a little shake when braking at speed on the freeway that is now gone. going to save the passenger side as a trail spare. Swapped out the drilled and slotted rotors with OEM.

Repainted the IFS skid while I had it off. Installed a TC sticker I've had laying around for ever.

What part number did you use for the wheel bearings? My driver side is going out and dealership says they have to replace the entire spindle to fix. Did you press out the old one and new one back in

Pretty sure they're a 4 bolt deal like most unit bearings? Might be a bit tight from road grime/rust/etc on some, but don't need a press I don't think...

I picked these up off of Amazon...
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0747ZZT51/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

OEM would have been better no doubt but for the price point these seemed like a pretty solid value. I will probably upgrade bearing and wheel studs when I redo the front suspension.

No need to press anything out replace the entire unit bearing.

*** Spindle Nut is 35mm so make sure you have that on hand. Had to pick one up from Autozone for $20 as Osh/Home depot/ Harbor freight ( only had in $96 set).

Correct. Not sure how much lift it's going to give me, hopefully it's comparable to my lift block that I have in there now. Plan is to run them temporarily so I can delete said lift block and possible gain a little bit better ride quality in the dirt, until I figure out if @DMCtacoma is going to work some magic on it or DMZ Kit is going on.:violent:

It'll give you like 1-1.5", slightly better ride. I think they're pretty clapped by now, so new ones might give more. You're the third truck they'll be run on hahaha

Sloppy 3rd's are my favorite. Luckily you only ran them for 20 mins on your pile.

So last night pulled tent off and started to take a look at mounting CO2 tank.

    Couple configurations I'm thinking...

Or option # 4 not pictured all the way up by cab upright on passenger side.

I like #1 and # 3 but in order to use tank needs to be upright so. with a fully loaded bed having to dick around with with those quick fist mounts is going to be pain in the tits. It's nice in the other truck just being able to plug hose in and turn tank on and air up.

    Anyone have any thoughts?
