That's what I was thinking. I'm wondering if you have to get all the oil and fluid changes there to get the warranty?

And as long as the stealership(s) stay in business under the same ownership and if they have a good reputation they care about, it could offer a peace of mind for some

The thing that caught my eye was:
"The Lifetime Warranty is valid for as long as you own and you drive the vehicle - for an unlimited time, unlimited miles. For the useful life of the car."
OK, what is 'the useful life of the car'? Who defines that? I've got a van that's 26 years old that I'd have no prob with jumping in right now and driving cross country. I've got another neighbor with a 76-77 (?) Chevy PU he bought new and still plows snow with it. OTOH, I have another neighbor who seems to only take 6 months to destroy whatever he is currently driving...
I guess if this warranty costs nothing ... TRULY costs nothing ... I'd go for that. I'd still want a better definition of what they consider "For the useful life of the car."

You can purchase extended warranties from a 3rd party at any time. Adams Toyota probably got a group rate at a good price (say $200 per vehicle), and it's rolled into the cost of the vehicle.

Mojave Toyota's lifetime warranty posted by @mikeaesq is run by United States Warranty Corp and underwritten by Allstate - note the 5-year recurring inspection requirement
Olathe Toyota's lifetime warranty posted by @Chap79 is run by Warranty Automotive Services Corp - note the $100 deductible

If the warranty company closes shop and reopens with a different name next year, your "lifetime" warranty ends right there.

That's the real major thing right there. And especially as if it's 'dealer specific' or the underwriting company itself.
When we had our house built in 1995, we had a wood/oil combo furnace installed with a lifetime warranty. It was a top-shelf company/model at the time. Whenever I needed small minor repair/maint parts they sent them free.
Well, that company went out of business 3-4 years ago. Worst thing is, the furnace is huge and weighs a bit more than a ton. Cast iron. House was built around the furnace.
So now, when things break, I have to pray I can take whatever part in and find a replacement or have it rebuilt. Very touch-n-go thing. Even replacing it ... Besides the weight, it's too big to fit through a 36" door, so that means busting out the side of a door frame and then rebuilding. And then installing a new furnace with the added work of re-doing the ducting to get it to fit.
Moral of the story is: Sometimes Lifetime Warranties are completely worthless...

Your absolutely right. My sister and her husband had a log house built by a - at the time - very reputable company among log home builders. 'Lifetime Warranty for the logs, blah, blah, blah'.
Company folded a few years later.
Logs started to rot from the inside out...absolute nightmare for several years afterword. So yeah, I figure if it works and stays in effect fine, if it doesn't I'm not out anything. Was just curious if anyone had any actual experience using it...and from the replies, I guess not!
My last Toyota pickup lasted 30 years with the motor and tranny never being touched so I'm not concerned about it. But thanks for your input!

Funny tidbit in the Olathe warranty:

"This warranty does not cover damages or failure resulting from the installation of non-genuine Toyota parts."

    Then on the next page:

"At our discretion, replacement parts may include non-original equipment manufacturer parts."

But ... Is that through 'Jeep'? (Fiat/Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep) or is it through the dealership? Jeep isn't going out of business anytime soon ... A dealership? You could see them there one day and two days later ... Gone.
