Dude is literally out in the middle of nowhere. Probably not a soul for hundreds of miles...yet still feels the need to pack a sidearm for protection?!

You need to step up your game. A small caliber bolt action on a table doesn’t count as a technical.

Well that's one thing you Americans and Arab militants agree on. A few more shawarma joints here, a few strip clubs there and before you know it you got world peace being signed on a Toyota tailgate.

I'd think something was wrong if he was NOT wearing a sidearm.
The time that you are most likely to need a sidearm is when you don't have it.
If you always have it, you're not likely to ever need it.

BTW, OP, I like the shooting bench.

Love that bench, is that a Caldwell pivot bench? I like the way it fits in the bed of the Taco. Something I didn't know existed a minute ago, I suddenly need! ;-)

More tactical than technical. Side arm is to finish off the top half of the ground hogs. Makes me think about a bag I can add to the rhino rack on my canopy for prone shooting. I like it. A lot

It’s actually a Varmint Masters bench designed and marketed by my shooting buddy Rick. He sold the patent to Caldwell. Great bench, rotates 360 degrees.
