i live 20 miles south of chicago.right smack dab in the midwest.i work for the municipality of the town i live in.we have a population that is %60 hispanic %20 black and 20%white. what is the in infatuation that hispanics have with toyotas?? when we had our 00 we got stares from hispanics everywhere we went and entirely way too many times we get of the truck and a hispanic would ask in broken english(sorry thats just the way it is around here)"how you want for the tacoma?".now with the 07,its the same exact thing.i dont get it.any answers?i'm by no means a racist either.like i say they pay my salary.

thats what they have in most of thier countries. A lot of toyotas because they last. Im from Colombia (not columbia) and thats where Ive seen the nicest toyota pickups with snorkels and everything. take it as a compliment everytime somebody ask you about your truck.

Is that you don't know all the things that the tacoma has that other trucks in mexico dont. Don't be a stupid, the Tacoma can take me to Home Depot, I can carry like 5 or 6 illegals with me and also has a lot of compartments to hide marijuana.

BTW I don't think Hispanics are the only ones obsessed with Toyota. Have you seen how some people here get when someone mentions they bought something other than a Toyota?

They are smart. They know what vehicles are good. When I lived in FL, I had several hispanics offer to buy my 97 Nissan Hardbody when I didnt want to sell it. BTW, Best vehicle I ever owned, until I get my 09 Taco. When I had to move to England, I had a yard sale the day before the packers came. I thought about my truck and decided to put a sign in the window at the yard sale. I sold it in 45 mins! A Hispanic man pulled out a fat wad of cash and drove it away in about 20min. My conclusion, they know exactly what are good vehicles!
