I’m waiting a day or two to decide. I’ll see who’s bringing what and try to fill in with something that travels safe.
Meatballs and sausage in a slow cooker comes to mind.

Harry, Plates, cups, and silverware is probably a good thing. Meatballs and sausage might be a great thing to bring John a slow cooker on the trail might be a very difficult thing to control. Does your slow cooker have latches to lockdown the top? How are you going to keep it warm? I do not believe that the AC outlet in our beds is rated for that many amps.

I was thinking about doing the crock pot thing, I have a battery that I think could run it, but decided I’d be ok cleaning mud and dirt off the runner, but not bbq or other sauce off the interior.

    Ok....in my defense.....
    1. Even though it was a HIGHLY dangerous moment.....it was still funny as hell.
    2. I blame harbor freight with their crappy plastic gas cans.
    3. Did you die? I mean ...did you? We just "sent it" in a different way lol.

I will admit though, having my rear camper shell cap open, side and rear, that entire ride from the air up area to the brewery was a white knuckling experience. Having like a 1/2 of gasoline in the entire area of a six foot bed trying to air out the fumes to make everything evaporate was......well.......lets just call it an interesting experience lol.

    Beat me to it!

I've done it, my slow cooker has latches on the sides, it fit in a milk crate and I threw bungee straps through the sides and held it down. I THINK I then did a ratchet strap to bed tie downs, can't remember exactly. But it was just across town for the office potluck, not 2 hours + wheeling.

    I feel targeted.

    Hitch rack?

No good story starts with "Hold my Kale", it starts with "Well, here goes nothing"

Ok so I have a bunch of stuff for sale from when I owned my Tacoma. I'm going to bring a lot of it. We can set up a table and do a parts swap sale.

^ I have one as well, in less than stellar shape but it still works. I can grab a table cloth somewhere for it if needed. Same goes to @crashngiggles but it would have to go into a truck that's going into the woods.
