    What's up guys!

Been reading a lot and have a few questions.

I have '12 DCSB PreRunner Sport and will be installing the Toytec 3" with front coils. I believe I got the 884 and the 1.5 AAL.

This was a gift so not positive it is 884 but I assume. (Already have the kit ready to install with new wheels/tires)

Will I be OK with 884 on a DC with stock shocks?

Will this setup level me out or is the front going to settle on me and drop?

Anyone with this exact setup have any feedback?

I prefer to be as level as possible.

    Thanks a lot!!!

Mainly wondering if the 884 with top spacer will be too low or if I'm OK with my OEM shocks up front.

No go on the stock shocks, you need the OME nitrocharger shocks.

So, Toytec just confirmed that this setup does work with the stock shocks.

So far all I have read on here is that you will get a 'slightly' better ride by replacing the shocks with OME or 5100's.

I will most likely stay with my stocks, which are still pretty new, unless someone can confirm that this will not work or will be a horrible ride.

    Thanks.

You will tell a slight difference between the OEM ride and the OME coil ride but not much.

What's The rating on those coils?

Don't think the spring rate will take its toll on stock shocks?

The ome are more than likely valved for them.

All I know is they are 884's and when I called they said you do not need to replace your shocks. The site does say to switch shocks if you go with 885 or 886.

    Description from Toytec's website:

    Included in kit:

FRONT: (2) OME 884 standard/light load front lift coil springs

Optional med and heavy coils can be selected but require OME 90000 shocks sold separately

Also includes ToyTec Top plate spacers for a full 3" front lift & (6) top plate studs (Not recommended with 886 coils)

I have 884's w/ome shocks and rear 1.5 aal, front will settle you'd need .25(=1/2" lift) top out to b level after settling. I have a body armor rear bumper and topper and the front is still a little lower than rear. I would highly recommend OME shocks up front, do it now rather than wish u would have and have to take it apart and start over.

    Toyota's are awesome
884's work fine on OEM shocks. The 885's and 886's are too long. The 886's are also too high of a spring rate for the factory shocks.

Drinkn, did you install the top plate spacers up front with the 884's?

OK cool, mine has the top plate spacer, so maybe I'll be closer to level. I don't mind a slight rake, but we'll see.

I think I'm attempting the install today, starting with the front.

    .....

Oh, and thanks Toytec for confirming that! I figure I'll upgrade shocks down the road once my oem's are a little more worn.
