I don't think so....considering they are making them on the mainland....I would say represented by the traffic on TW Arizona and California by far outweigh Hawaii.

Ok, I looked at your picture. How is that in hawaii? You could take that anywhere. I want to see alot of the Tacos in one picture. Give me a pic of a meet that "everyone" is running that crappy 3 inch body lift (with a total of 12 inches). 1 inch, understandable, 2 inches, your pushing it. 3 is a no go. in VA Its actually illegal here. (for street use)

To be fair you didn't actually say 12 inch suspension lift. But that's what i think you were implying considering this is a lift thread.

nope not blaming the spacers for other issues. the spacers make your front wheels caster way off, and you can visibly see that they were both angled in. my KM2's chopped like a bitch, and the truck never rode smooth again.. as i wasnt spending another 1200 dollars on tires, for them to be chopped in another 5k miles. i had rough country 1.5" spacers, and 1" rear blocks. people still run spacers because they are cheap, very cheap compared to the other options. i paid 250 bucks for the WHOLE rough country set up including new rear shocks. i was over that just in front 5100s and wheelers 3 leaf AAL pack. every truck is different, so just because something works on yours, doesnt mean itll work on everyones. there is no negligence when it comes to my truck, i am very meticulous, and do most of my own work, when it needs to be done, and alot of the time before it is called for to be done. i take care of my shit, so dont throw that bull shit out there like i beat on my truck and dont get the oil changed. neither of my tacoma's (previous reg cab, or current DC) have ever been off road. i rely way too much on them to have something break and be without a vehicle for a day. hope that clears up your questions.

How is the truck not in hawaii? It has a hawaii license plate look at the rainbow. And i didnt say everyone has a 12 inch lift here, i said 6-12 they range from. And it aint just suspension, its 3 body plus 6 drop brackets plus add ons. Ill try get some pics for u. Right now on kauai the cops are stricter on height level and tires cuz couple years ago a teenager with an older toyota truck ran over lady sun bathing on the beach. His truck was super illegal with a 12 inch lift and tires that stuck out super wide. Ill even try get a pic of that truck for u.

he speaks the truth. there are tons of trucks here that are lifted that high. 6" DB + 3" spacer + 3" body.

Not many people here wheel, and it's turned into a form>function style where the higher your truck is, the "better" it is. Same goes with "Hawaiian" style wheels and tires, like 15x14 wheels and whatnot.
And there are more tacomas here per capita then any other state
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvLNyCDx710

spacers are okay if you absolutely don't have the money for anything else, and if you don't mind a rougher ride/dont wheel much. Idk ben, I've rode in tons of spacer lifted trucks and either your truck was a lemon (in a good way?) or you don't know what a good ride is :D

I never ran toytec's 3" spacer but I ran their AAL- it served me great. Rode well and handled loads pretty good. Didn't even sag with all the loads I put on it/ wheeled it.

But I wheeled it too hard.

yeah check out that video....i was actually at that cruz and there were alot of trucks jacked all the way up. What Konaborne said is true. In the islands its more of a style and bragging rights. Oahu is alot stricker than the other islands imo but still got alot of lifted trucks here and not only Tacos.

BTW-his truck wont be in this vid cause he is on a different island :D
