EDIT: As far as I can tell, the replacement shock part number is 24-186520, and supercedes part # F4-BE5-6930-H8. Several companies appear to be stocking this item now.

I have emailed both respectively but just in case I don't hear back, does anyone have a part number for the threaded-bodied shocks that are found on the Toytec/ All-Pro coilovers? Mine are about a decade (or more) old and likely in need of replacement. Since both companies are selling virtually identical kits, I would assume the shock is a generic, off-the-shelf Bilstein part.

    Thanks

I am referring to these, if anyone was wondering: Toytec almost identical set:

Didn't someone already mention they're not serviceable?

At 10 years old, they're long overdue.

Just toss them out and get new 5100's or better.

I'm not trying to service them, I am trying to replace them. The design is not the same at the 5100. It has a threaded body and an eye-to-eye config.

Welp, I contacted Bilstein directly and they basically told me I'm SOL and to see if RCD sells something (spoiler alert: they don't) that would work for my application. So if you are an owner of these coilovers I would highly suggest that you buy whatever is still in stock before it's gone forever, or you're going to have to buy a completely new set of coilovers later. Had I known that when I purchased these I may not have bought them and just got Icons or something.

I never heard back from Toytec or All-Pro/Wheeler's.

I just got these mystery shocks delivered from Toytec to replace the ones in the ultimate lift I bought from them back in 2010. Found myself here after they arrived as I was trying to figure out which Bilsteins had been shipped to me. Toytec does not have them on their website. I called looking for them and was told they still had a few. Paid $250/each. Box says 5100's series, but the part number will lead you to modern 6100's.

Well, that's disappointing they no longer make them. I have the Toytec Boss lift that uses those shocks. I guess I'll run them into the ground and upgrade to a different lift in the future...

The toytec COs and SPC UCAs/ball joints I installed all have about 100k on them. One of the ball joints has failed so I figured I would just refresh the entire mess while I'm at it. At the cost of the replacement shocks it wouldn't have taken much forum surfing to convince myself to get some other CO's. Maybe at the next 100k refresh.

More companies appear to be stocking this part now, either that or I started looking it up using the new part #, which is 24-186520.

I could have swore I searched both part numbers before and came up with sparse options. Now I'm seeing Amazon, Summit Racing, 4WP, Shock Warehouse and others carrying the shock and are ready to ship them.

Did you end up getting the 24-186520's? Did they work for you?

Toytec no longer caries a product like this, instead they contract with Elka now to make them a budget friendly serviceable coilover.

This is on their website as of right now. This looks like the 24-186520, but I'm not sure if the shock top eye is able to be removed to slide the spring top mount on or if you would have to disassemble the shock body and pull out the shaft to get the spring top mount on.
