how do you like this ride and have you towed anything with it yet? I also bought the wheelers 3 leaf HD pack. hoping to have it installed this weekend just not sure if I should leave the overload in or out.

The ride is a lot better than stock! I have a 21 ft Carolina skiff and it now hauls it with no sag!! I left my overload in and glad I did. It's high in the rear at first, but it settles in perfectly!

If you leave the overload in you will need longer u bolts. The ones that come with will work but I didn't feel comfortable with bolts not going all the way thru the nuts. Called Wheelers and they were super nice and sent me some new u bolts.

Wheelers offers OME springs that are 883.... They are almost the same spring rate as stock just a lil longer.

(my understanding is most people have been running the 834,5, or 6 to get more lift)

3" toytec/bilstein lift with aal, light racing uca, 285/70/17 hankook mtrt03, SCS sr8 matte gun metal wheels, Rockford fosgate 6X9 speakers, jvc 6" display, uws low pro toolbox, weather tech digital fit, 15% tint, spidertrax 1.25" spacers, Tacotunes 10" box powered by 350w sound ordinance amp.
With the toytech(bilstein) coil over 3 inch lift can you run factory UCA's?

    Bilstein 5100's w/ OME 885's (Front), Bilstein 5100's w/ TSB 4-Leaf & 2" AAL (Rear), XD Monsters with 33x12.5 Toyo Open Country M/T, G2 BAK Bed Cover
After all this research I mentioned above, the deal with the Misfits fell through. This gave me additional time to research more on TW along with finding the exact wheels and tires I really wanted. Finally, I ended up going with OME 885's with Bilstein 5100's at the front set at the ZERO setting. I did install the small spacer from ToyTec to help level out the front. With this set up, I was able to keep the stock UCA's. After getting the truck aligned, it is riding great. In the rear, I have the Bilstein 5100's, had the TSB done and also added the Wheelers 2" AAL. In addition to the lift, I also added the 18x9 XD Monsters with 33x12.5 Toyo Open Country M/T. I am very pleased with the lift, the ride and the look! Thanks TW Members for the advice.

    To clarify a little bit:

There are 2 different eibach coils that are popular. Part #112-620 which is a 620# spring. If running adjustable 5100's, zero setting with this spring yields around 1.6" of lift. Then there is part #521600, which is also a 620# spring. 5100's on the zero setting yields approx 2.5" of lift.

Now, I was torn on the OME885 vs 886 vs the eibach 521600. I have an aluminum plate bumper, winch, steel skid. Not quite heavy enough to run the 886 coils, but kinda pushing the 885's. The 620# coils from eibach are a great inbetween coil of the 886 and 885.

Then you run into the guys who get all crazy about running OME coils on Bilestein shocks. The springs are both progressive and are very similar.

Just sharing my expierence. Hope this helps.

Personally I'm just looking for a little bit of lift and a better ride - and this sounds perfect to me. And inexpensive.

    I have a 2013 SR5 4x4 though. Would that change anything?

Is this the leaf you're talking about? I'm still extremely new at this, but I keep reading not to use the stock coils when doing a lift. Do you expect any issues keeping yours stock?

I live in MN where are roads are absolute crap, so a smooth ride (comparable to stock) is pretty important to me.

its not the HD 3 leaf but if you do not tow or have weight in the bed should be fine.
