I haven't heard anything about broken lower mounts. I know they had issues a long time ago, just due to a particular bad batch by the manufacturer, but they took care of anyone who had issues.

The KINGs are definitely worth the wait, I run them on my truck and I got them through Toytec as well. I've ridden on a lot of Boss Kits too and they are very comfortable on and offroad. Had the Toytec Ultimate on my first gen before too and it worked well.

If you can just wait for either the KING or the Boss I'd do that rather than jump into a Rancho quicklift.

Nice!! Post some pictures, would like to see more close ups. Also a nice review after installed would be valuable as there is not much info out there.
I am sure toytec will take care of you and TMFF as well.

I am waiting it out, just sucks having Tacoma on jack stands for so long.
The few I found were told they did not have proper bump stops so it was their fault? Maybe bump stop extensions are needed with kit? Maybe it was a bad batch? Who knows?
I am tempted to try the boss shocks but high dollar risk until I hear more positive feedback. I think 4 wheel parts is expecting a stock order on the 18th so I'll check then.

Thanks Ice! I seen that thread and been through it about a dozen times. Good info for 2nd and 3rd gens, but not much on 1st gens.

Now the guy I was working with at 4wp no longer works there and they are now telling me 4-8 weeks on kings!! I am going Rancho quicklift(in stock at my store) and selling my AllPro Uppers. Just take it easy on Tacoma and use it for towing. Apparently there is a voice from somewhere trying to tell me something and I am not listening, time to start. LOL

The voice is telling you to put the money towards an already built truck set up with kings on all four corners

They confirmed they have their hands on my KING's. Still not a believer until I touch them. 30 more minutes and I'll be heading up the hill to pick them up.

I thought I'd save some cash so I went with the Rancho Quicklift and it's not bad BUT I should've gone w BOSS. The quicklift works great and the ride is much better than stock but after a year I'm ready for the real deal!

Thanks guys! I am looking forward to installing these on Friday with daughters boyfriend helping so he can learn. I have All Pro uppers going on as well and may do brakes since I am in there.
Appreciate all of you that were telling me to be patient, it worked!

Oem replacements. Supposed to offer more travel but I don't think they are "extended" travel. Not going crazy as truck pulls and hauls, but wanted sturdy performance for when the foot gets silly.
Upper arms needed replacement and we had a group buy so why not add some beef?

Are the '04 BOSS coilovers made with Radflos as well? I noticed that the description on the kits for the '05+ Tacomas mentions Radflos but the description for the BOSS kit for 1st gens doesn't say, unless I'm missing it?
