**toytec coilovers help**

When I had them installed, I asked him to set them at 3" lift, right now there is 2 inches of thead showing. How many inches of thread needs to be showing for 1.5" front lift? Thanks.

 

I would say an inch but for a most accurate answer I would call toytec and see if they know. They would know best!

 

All they said was " it depends on the vehicle".

 

OF COURSE, I would drop it down to about 1.15'' of thread and see if that does the trick and work your way from there. I say 1.15 cause its easier to still be tall and adjust down than having to adjust back up for going too low.... ya know??

I think mine have 1.25" thread showing but I wouldn't go by what toytecs directions say.......I set mine according to that and had over 4" lift. Just go by vehicle measurements like Chris 4x4 said, think its around 23"?? I usually go from the ground and have 38.5" with 33" MTs!

 

The adjustment is a preload for the coilspring. The amount of actual lift will vary with vehicle weight.
