finally got around to installing my coilovers/LR UCA's from toytec> no pics of install as it was a last minute decision at work using someone else's tools and i did not have my camera. I did this by myself and it took about 6 hrs. It has settled a tiny bit > due to me romping on some trails trying to make it settle. on to pics.

looks great man except those cv angles

did you measure your lift in the front?

I have 23 1/4" from centre of hub to bottom of fenders, whats yours?

I just put SAW coil overs in the front, I set it to about 3" lift in the front and my CV angles don't look bad at all compared to yours.

i will measure tomorrow, i didn't measure when i installed as i was pressed for time to get it to the alignment shop after i installed. i am sure they are over 3" and i thought they would have settled down a bit, i guess i should hold off on the wheeling till i get this resovled.
so your set at 3" with what size tires, i am rolling on 265 75 16's, so i am guessing my measurment should be the same as yours right?

tire size won't affect the measurement from centre of hub to bottom of fender thats what it is better than measuring from the ground.

stock is around 20" in the front I believe so you should be around 23" for a 3" lift.

technically since you changed the geometry of your suspension you should get an alignment after it is lowered

newb question here, but if you removed the factory clamps and slide the ends of the boots toward each other (maybe an inch) wouldn't it separate the bellows in the boots a little and relieve the rubbing? Or would the suspension flex/turning radius tear the boot?

i am retracting what i said "that it came that way from toytec" i raised to level the truck even, my shocks are over extended and way out of alignment, i have been driving over a week on them, my almost new tires are jacked due to having major out wear on my tires, totally pissed right now because i just had studs put in them, now i need new tires....................

alright, not that i am at 22 3/4 in. middle of hub to bottom of fender, my uca's are right where they need to be....properly aligned and what a difference it makes. I should have left the coilovers set at from the factory but instead i raised to level the truck which made it 24" in the front. my alignment was way off and instead of getting full potential of shocks working properly "it was on its tippy toes" and extended, (what a stiff freaking ride that was, and i was getting Heavy outwear on my tires) vibrations from hell, now that i dropped it back to where i should be no vibrations at all !!!!! <with proper alignment.

I will post pics of cv angles when i get home and you can see the difference.
