    Hello Forum,

I have a 2008 DCSB 4.0 Tacoma 2WD. I have a rear Hellwig add-a-leaf kit & a 1/4" spacer (to cure the Taco lean issue) on the left front strut. The height specs are as follows:

    l.f. 35.25
    r.f. 35.25
    l.r. 37.75
    r.r. 37.00

I am looking at this kit: , part #OME3-05-AL.

Is anyone here running this? If so can you give me the height specs that your truck sits at with this? I measured from the floor up to the very bottom of the fenders with the wheel center cap centering the measuring tape as a guide. Obviously, I would remove the Hellwig add-a-leaf & install this complete kit instead. Also, I won't install the extra spacer on the front struts. I think it will raise the front only 2" instead of three.
I don't want three inches of lift.

Can the alignment be brought back into specs? Will it still have some rake? Should I leave well enough alone? Should I just run Billies (5100's) on al fours with the front @ 1.75? I don't want the truck level because when I tow, the rear will look lower. As it is now, I tow a 4600 lb boat & it's level with the weight & 4 adults on it (PS: Timbrens help also)!

Sorry for the question bombardment! LOL!
    THANKS!!!! :)

Off topic but on topic. How do you like the Hellwig? I'm considering it to help offset sag when towing or hauling my quad.

    Hello Tmill,
I am very happy with the Hellwigs. I ended up replacing my rear leaf pack with a 2/1 pack off of a 2012 TRD Tacoma and a 3 Leaf AAL. I also purchased and installed the EZ550 from Hellwig to firm up the rear suspension. I think Hellwig products are great and I highly recommend them. :)

Lots of people running that. I did not use the top plates nor did I use a Taco lean spacer but it definitely had a rake, I think around 1/2" - 3/4"
