I've got the ToyTec Ultimate lift and after a few more mods i will have a good amount of permanant weight in the bed. My topper has got to be 200ish lbs and the bed/drawer system i am building is going to be almost the same is my best guess. Should I be getting a heavier duty add a leaf for the back? What are my options?

We do offer a Heavier Duty AAL, but honestly, in your situation, you would be better off replacing that leaf pack with a custom one, that way you can dial in your exact ride height you want, as well as the weight capacity needs you have.

Look in your phone book or call a off-road shop in your area and ask them where a local custom spring place is.

    for what?
    the rear options?

Alcan Springs is who we use. I've used them on the last two Tacoma's I've had with excellent results!

Yes the rear? OME Dakars HD's?

Why not the HD add a leaf?

Any time you can replace a suspension component with a newly engineered, designed for its intended purpose, your going to end up with a better ride.

Sure, our HD AAL would help out, just not completely resolve your issue.

The Dakar's are a nice pack.
