What is this for? I'm assuming air? If so how much PSI does it require? Can't find anything on it. (BOSS ALUMA 2.0 BOSS Toytech Suspension Lift 2")

I doubt it’s air, most likely nitrogen

Was completely empty. Had to put air in it bc it wasn't charged at all. Don't know if toytech forgot this one or what..but it fixed my issue

Just be aware that the air will be affected by temperature and will ride differently almost constantly based on ambient temperature and however much the shock moves

Air has enough impurities that it might cause corrosion internally. And will react more to temperature variances caused by using the shocks.

Did you buy them new empty? If so call Toytec and get them warrantied.

Did you buy them new and now they are empty? Probably have a damaged seal and they need to be rebuilt.

Did you buy them used? They needed to be rebuilt and the seller pawned them off on an uneducated buyer that thought they were getting a deal.

So is jamming tissue paper in a gunshot wound but it's not the best way to fix a problem. Depending on how long it's been like that it might already be toast.

That looks a lot like rust on the inside of that pressure fitting. And why does the dirt on the red cap look so greasy?

Not sure what to tell ya. It's how I got them. My main concern is, is there a leak of some sort? So I'll have to monitor it until I can talk with Toytech on Monday

And you were OK with your shiny new red shocks being rusty out of the box?

Running shocks that you know aren't right are a great way to get any warranty that might have existed to disappear.

That’s an F connector for coax. Should get some good reception off that thing.
