Speaking to that topic I still have some spots to fill in the next batch. Waiting on responses.
The current batch in production is assembling this weekend and shipping next week. I'm a bit behind due to two issues: my wrist, which is better but still not 100% and my workload at HD. This past week has been the most challenging of my 15 year career with the company.
Regardless, everything's ready to rock for this weekend and I'll be sure to post some pics.

 

The Raptor grill is bad ass. I'm almost ready to trade my 2013 for a 2011 just so i can get one of these.lol

 

Not to derp Craig's thread but now that people are repping this BP guy like he came up with the product really bothers me.

I support Craig's work and the passion he has for it shows in his final product. It's easy to copy a product or steal someones idea but what Craig has done for the Tacoma community is absolutely amazing. Craig's products are a staple in the Tacoma's custom appearance.

I am a repeat customer of Craig's, he has helped me multiple times with the truck, grilles and on a more personal level. He has and will go above and beyond for anyone. He is a standup guy, businessman & artist.

I have noticed during my rise up the list that I move up more than the 9 or 10 people you choose for a batch. How many people do you have to go thru before you have enough for a complete batch?

 

I've been waiting for someone to ask that.

There is on average (taking into account the thread is nearly 3years old now) a 50% drop out rate.

 

Sweet gets me there quicker

 

Really is a shame that in the 7 to 9 months it takes to have the grill made the person could not save up the cash. I know some members economic situation might change but not at a 50% rate.

 

Hey guys and Homer, is there anyway we can get some sort of website or photo album started that displays every possible variation for these grills? It would be very helpful when trying to figure out what look people want. For example deep lip with m1 mesh, deep lip with m2 mesh, etc. Next page/link Thin lip m1 mesh, etc. Next page, deep lip raptor variation m1 mesh, etc.
I'm sure we could rally the faithful homertaco clients to provide pictures if you don't have all of them.

 

There are pictures of every variation that I have built already located in my gallery.
Unfortunately the gallery is organized the the order in which I posted the pictures, not subject or content.
And I have more pictures in my gallery than anyone else on TW.
I have thought about building a thread on just the various styles but never had the time to actually do it.

 

A separate devoted thread is exactly what I was talking about. Are the pictures in your gallery well labeled by lip type and mesh type? If so, maybe one of us could start the thread for you.

 

I think I want a full depth, m1, with Toyota letters, but I haven't found anyone that has had that before.

 

There is an issue with the combination that you're thinking about. My full depth satoshi grills and also my thin lip grills are curved to match the contour of the front of the grill...

There is no flat surface large enough on it to attach raptor letters only the FJ Toyota emblem.

You would have to request a grill that has a flat mesh profile. I can do it on a full depth Satoshi but only by request - I have to trim the back of the inner surround so it is flat and make a flat piece of mesh.

I hope that makes sense.

What you explained is exactly what I want. Is that much harder to do? I think it would look menacing, especially with some sort of led hidden behind the grill.

 

Not really - you'd just need to specifically request that.
