TOYWERX 05-11 Made-To-Order Satoshi Grills

Will be beginning the next batch soon.

 

Raw Material prices have jumped up.
I've done my best to keep costs as low as possible. I went to order today and the cost for the bare grills has gone up $20 each!?!?!
Stupid economy.

Any of you on the list want a Super White (202) grill?

I currently have all of the outer surrounds out to paint for the current batch and am about 40% through fabrication and the mesh should be ready for powder coat next week.
Unfortunately, one of the members in the current batch had their truck totaled and will be getting a newer model.
It would be great to be able to pivot to another super white 05-11 build since they're already at the body shop.

I’m Desert Sand Mica so white only works for my ‘02 Tundra. Maybe someday I might entice you to dabble in one of those

Hows the projects going, any updates?

Only waiting on one component - the mesh back from powder coat.
Hopefully that will be ready to pick up this Friday.
Outer surrounds are painted & I'm 90% complete with plastic fab.
Been a bit tough to get on recently due to the Holiday & also we took my daughter to College last week.
Gaining on it!

This last batch has taken far too long - too many competing priorities and now complicated by a personal injury. (nerve issue in my hand)
Hope to get some answers on 1/3 when I see a specialist. I owe a PM update to those who are in the current batch. Just got home from the in-laws

 

This is my 2nd order so its worth the wait, but like homer said this batch has had its issues.

Hello All,
I've been going through some personal medical issues that have unfortunately prevented me from being able to complete my work. It's gone on for too long and unfortunately treatment has yet to prove successful. I've issued a full refund to the 4 individuals that were in my latest build and will not be taking on additional work unless I can successfully complete it.
I'm going to give it another 90 days. If I can get the dexterity back that is necessary to perform the work I'll continue to offer this service as I have for the past decade, if not I'll reluctantly halt my grill production.
My apologies to the members who so patiently waited for this batch, but I refuse to send anyone an inferior product.
