    Oh, I'm not being negative, I think your combining two great elements. The Pro grill design is very popular so you'll capture that target group. Replacing that honeycomb with mesh makes it unique. I totally get wanting to keep production costs low.

    Well, I think I thought up a workaround Andre's. I'm just going to use a custom made spacer with longer bolts. I like the size and get a lot of positive reactions about it. A lot from strangers on the street. I may need to have the reanodized if that's possible though. I should have threw a couple coats of clear spray on them.

    While you can make some spacers you can also stack washers and run with longer screws.
    It will have the same effect as a custom spacer plus washers are dirt cheap at your local hardware store.

    True, true! :thumbsup: I have a sheet of HDPE though. I was just going to trace it and use a jigsaw then sand it all smooth. Make it so that it's tight in the space so there's no shifting. But like you said, washers are a cheap alternative.

    Well, I am pretty sure I am down for a new Gen 3 Homer Taco Grill, and I am sure I can make the Devil Horns On Fire work with it. I just need to see the grill all blacked out before I commit 100%.
