Is the difference here between this and the Satoshi the lack of the recess?

Will this version reuse the bezel?

Is this bolted or screwed on or glued?

Will you also offer the bottom mesh panel?

Also, what is the opening size of the middle area and the area in the lower opening? I want to know if I can fit some Devil Horns in there that @Andres makes. I have them and they have to be part of my grill. Why I was stuck on the Ghost Raptor. I also want to know if it will be possible to remove and paint the mesh? I can do all my own painting but black powder coat mesh with Inferno ABS might be my first choice, or if the ABS is factory molded black, then go the reverse and do Inferno Mesh (maybe).

Middle is about 3 1/2" & the bottom is about 5"

The devil horns won't fit in the middle - it's not tall enough.

I'd ideally like to sell these as a complete plug & play product but anything I make can be disassembled...

I've got this already taken apart to powder coat the mesh black.

No list yet but stay tuned.

 

Thanks for the answers Craig! I feel like plug-n-play benefits you and us for sure. Can't wait to see it all black. I think a choice of text in the center would be nice too. Personally, I'd like to see Tacoma.

 

I don't think I'll be doing anything but that Toyota one. I don't want to get into having a emblem inventory. The lettering I have now is plenty.

 

Well, maybe offer them without text and leave it up to the consumer to choose. Or not.

I don't know. Maybe I am just too hooked on the 2nd Gen pressed text design.

My loss I suppose.

I was dead set on a pressed outward Tacoma design, with the mesh painted Inferno and the letters painted black. It would have brought the design of the tailgate through to the grill.

 

There’s still more research to be done. I like the TRD Pro surround option as it should make the installation pretty seamless.
There is so much more I could possibly do with these given some time.
This is just the first one.
