I just bought a double cab to replace my reg cab.

Obviously I want to keep the grey TRD wheels from my reg cab.

Can I just swap the wheels and tires intact from one truck to the other?

Both trucks are 2012, and have the same 17" wheel size.

How will the TPMS sensors recognize/communicate with the new vehicle? Will it pick up the signal automatically, or do I have to pair them somehow?

I'm pretty sure they have to be recalibrate to the new truck. I think most shops (other than dealer) will scan the old sensors to get the frequency and program the new sensors the same way, so you will need both sets of tires in hand.

    Yeah, that sounds about right.

I think I'm just gonna do the swap and see what happens. I'll post back with the results.

Probably won't have time until next Friday though.
