TPMS Installation in unequipped truck

Hi all,

This may be odd to most of you but in Canada, some Tacomas do not come equipped with TPMS. I had it on my 2019 OR (AT) but my 2021 Sport (MT) does not have it. This is the case with all MT model Tacomas and (I think) some base model configurations.

Anyway, how easy, costly and/or feasible would it be to install a TPMS? I have zero issues checking tire pressure myself (already had to because the dealership apparently couldn't or forgot to) but I do miss the convenience of it on the dash.

so my trucks from canada, and the display screen quoted above looks exactly like mine--there is nothing about tire pressures currently on my display. but then the button under the dash by the hood release to re-learn the TPMS sensors exists. does this mean i don't have TPMS!?! i'd like to avoid letting all the air out of a tire to learn. my compressors buried...

edit, nevermind, i just needed to look harder.

I bought a Tymate brand on Amazon about 8 months ago for about $80. I put it on a 2013 Lexus and so far it’s very accurate. Solar powered. I’d buy the brand again.
