Anyone else have tpms light issues after upgrading wheels and tires? I have aftermarket setup with new tpms sensors. I had shop tech read the new tpms serials and enter them into my trucks computer. I’ve had the tpms light come on several times, the reset switch does nothing. Have to go to shop each time to clear the light. I’m thinking the stock spare sensor might be an issue but the the 4 tires with new sensors we’re all entered into onboard cpu... I’m thinking spare is 5th sensor but still should be the same?

What year? Mine doesn’t have a 5th sensor in the spare. Make sure yours does.

2018 OR. I remember the tech trying to get a read from the spare but that was over the summertime and I don't remember now if there is or isn't a sensor there. I just gave up on asking them to reset my TPMS indicator. They said I'd probably have to take it to the dealership but I could probably buy the Autel unit for what they would charge to fix my problem.

I haven’t ran tpms since I changed wheels and tires. I run about 25lb so they would stay on anyway. My plan to fix is just pull the bulb.

If you have your old tpms close the the truck it will pick them up and cause light to come and go. I had my old ones in a box before I sold them. Every time I pulled into the garage the light came on.

I’ve been down this road and wasted $120 getting tires broke down. Your new sensors don’t work. I tried that. I had to buy 4 news ones from TPMS.com. Call them, they are smart guys.
