Tire pressures were not being displayed on the main dash display. They are blank for the actual pressures on each tire. In some cold weather, I received an on dash alert about low front tire pressure. Still no actual numbers on the dash display, but the alert itself indicates something is working correctly in that system. The alert disappeared later as driving and daytime temperatures increased tire pressure.

I looked around in the manual to see if there was a way to reset the tire monitors but could not find anything beyond "wait" if service or inflation/deflation had been done recently. My exact experience over the years with TPMS. I am heading to the dealer at some point for routine maintenance and will bring up this issue. I was curious if anyone else had the same issue and a potential solution.

One of my sensors crapped out and stopped ‘reporting’ about 2 days after I drove it off the lot. Dealer replaced it..no issues thereafter.

I just saw a Reddit the other day where the person had the same issue and Toyota was able to fix the issue over the phone with him. Of course he didn’t give the specifics on the fix.

Since your truck is new, you have warranty, take it to the dealer for free fix.

Owners manual P537 has instructions for initializing the pressure warning system.

I noticed that the tire pressures took a little bit to show up after starting the vehicle. Had to wait about 2-4 min. for it to show on the dash.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I started the initialization by checking each tire and adding air up to 30 psi each.
The two front tires were at 29 psi, making me think the setpoint alert is probably 28-29 psi.
Then, true story, I was going through the settings, and realized the default on one of my screens was "traction", but not tire pressure.
I changed the display to show tire pressure.
    Everything works fine.
I guess I feel dumb, but going through the setting procedure, got me to the correct display!

Wait until you find out the TPMS screen will disappear from your screens!

Sooo frustrating. I set it to show TPMS and it reverts to Trip B!

    Wait ... what?

    I must be lucky.

The tire pressure monitor is holding on my dash display after two restarts and short drives.
I do not know if it matters to the "wait what" issue, but I did uncheck the prior "traction" display setting for this dash screen to replace it with the TPM.

Alert should show when measured pressure drops more than 25% below the set point. You change the setpoint on one of those screens. Options are to pick a value or use current tire pressure.

I'm on the opposite spectrum - I keep up with checking tire pressure. Wish none of my vehicles had TPMS. They're a pita when the sensor goes out.

In a few days it will be gone and replaced by trip B. Don't take it personal...Toyota hates all of us.

I feel like I need to look into this some more. I could also be on the wrong screen as well.
