Ive not had a vehicle with this tire "technology"
I am shopping for OEM wheel/tire upgrade for my '01 and many of the sets posted say that these sensors are not included. get that the seller wants to keep them....fine.
Not sure what that means to me AFA if that makes them unusable to me for any reason.

Gotcha, so as far as compatibility with wheels that were formerly TPMS equipped im fine but will likely mean I supply/provide regular valve stems at install.

Consider yourself lucky. TPMS is fine when it works, a pain when it fails, expensive to maintain.

Many find it just another nanny system to protect the maintenance challenged.

Look at fancy pants over here without TPMS.

I wish my truck didn't have it. All 4 tires have enough air in them, the spare looks healthy, and my light is still on...

If they had them removed and remounted, they probably already installed regular valve stems.
