i just had a new set of duratracs put on my truck and I'm having problems with the TMPS light. When i turn the key on, the light blinks for about a minute and then stays on. I've tried to hold the reset button, but nothing happens. I've checked all the tire pressures and my tires are at 44 psi all around and the spare is at 35 psi. Any advice why the light wont go away?

Does the spare have a TPMS? It could be the difference between the spare & the rest.

Did you press the reset button under the steering column?

When the tpms light comes on after blinking for one minute it's telling you there's a malfunction. Since you just had new tires put on my guess is they broke a sensor. I see you mentioned that your tires are at 44psi and the spare is at 35psi. Is that 44psi a misprint? The difference between 35-44psi would be enough to trigger the light, but in that instance the dash light comes on solid (doesn't blink.)

I just lowered the psi in the tires to match the pressure in the spare and the light still comes on blinking. I guess its got to be a malfunction then? Looks like I may have to go have a little chat with the guys at the tire shop

    Try this...
Get all the tires (including the spare) to the same psi. While parked turn the ignition key to the "on" position. Push and hold the tpms reset switch until the tmps warning light blinks slowly 3 times. Wait a few minutes with the ingnition key "on", and then turn the ignition key to the "off" position. If the tpms light doesn't blink slowly 3 times when you push and hold the reset switch, initialization has failed and the tpms system isn't working properly...get it checked out by the dealer or the place that mounted your tires.
