I just rolled 100k miles and my tire pressure sensor went off on my 2008 DC. The pressure is fine with all five tires. Tried resetting it several times with no luck. I assume one on the sensors has failed. Two questions, 1.) does anyone make generics since the dealership wants a pretty penny and 2.) do all the sensors have to be replaced or can they isolate it down to use the faulty one?
Thanks for looking and for the information.

some of this, a little of that
check with some local tire shops. We just did winter tires for my wifes car on separate rims and they needed TPMS as well and they charged us $50 per sensor, dealer was over $100 each. Also I think the batteries in the TPMS are good for around 7 years so your probably right in line there.

Yeah I figured they were at that point. Can't complain. Just wondering what my options were. Thanks

There's equipment that can tell which one is dead. A shop will have it. And yes, just one can be replaced.

Generics/non-OEM are out there and usually are programmable. As in, they pull the old one out, install the new one, program it with the same code as the old/dead one, and you're set.
