Invested in a dedicated winter set of wheels/ tires...blizzak dmv2. Had regular valve stems put on and I’ve put on over 200 miles without any light or anything telling me I don’t have a signal for the tpms. Have a 2019 trd sport. Was under the impression that I’d have an annoying light on.

It will come on when you drive it about 20 miles. I had no problem ignoring it. My drive to work was 21 miles.
My winter wheels dont have the TPMs either.
I retired recently and dont see the light coming on anymore putting around town.

When your truck is parked at home is it close to where the other tires (ones with tpms) are stored?

I keep the other set in the basement, not close at all. Even so, when I leave the house I get no indication about the tpms. A little over 200 miles/ couple weeks since the tires were put on. The screen with the tire pressure just shows multiple lines where each pressure would be. Not complaining, maybe the 2019 eliminated the nuisance? I could care less about a light on knowing it’ll go away once I go back to street tires, was just expecting it to be there.

    Update:
No lights have yet to come on with close to 500 miles without tpms.

Take it in; fix under warranty. Customer complaint: No annoying light.

Lol, hey I paid a pretty penny for the truck and I expect to have everything included with it including the annoying light.
Maybe the 19’s eliminated that problem?

I would have put some TPMS sensors in the winter wheels just for the heck of it. they arent that expensive.

Factory tpms sensors are around $200, that’s not cheap. I nitrogen fill my tires anyway, my pressures don’t move.
