Is it possible to remove the OEM TPMS sensors from 2023 TRD Sport wheels or is there a high possibility of damaging them when removing?

Depends on who's removing them. Any competent tire shop should be able to remove them.

They just unscrew from the valve stem, don't they?

It's stupid, its not you. You need new stems, they are 1 time use. #2 in the pic.

Most of what I have seen is they have a hex on the front that you unscrew and slide the stem out the back. Took me about 45 sec. per wheel (without a tire installed of course).
