I'm about to install some trd wheels and bfg ko2 tires. I ordered everything online and they installed the tpms sensors on the tires so I just have to put them on. My question is, do I need a tool to reprogram the sensors on it or does the holding of the button and driving after actually work? I seem to see both answers in equal part so I'd like to be clear so I can hurry up and get a tool if needed. Thanks for your time and help.

A tire shop will have to program them
Some scanners can do it, Discount Tire did them for me free of charge. But I’ve bought three other sets from them

You'll have to program them. If you have a Discount Tire nearby, they might even do it for free or a nominal fee.
