FWIW - I had a TPMS sensor failure on my '15 Sport. The truck still had the factory Bridgestones - P265/65R 17's, 43K. I replaced them with Michelin Defenders and new sensors from Denso (the Toyota supplier - Amazon - #550-0103) These were labeled as "First Time Fit" sensors. When I received them, 2 sensors had the same ID number printed on them and the other two had the same ID number, but different from the first two. The factory sensors had four distinct ID numbers listed in Techstream. So, my local tire dealer was able to activate the sensors with their Bartec sensor programmer. They activated each sensor and each registered with ID numbers that were distinct and different from the numbers printed on the sensors.
(go figure) They then downloaded the sensors ID's into the ECU with their tool.
    Like I said, FWIW
