Basics. Tires, painted headlighes, UHLM, baby winch in the bed, and heated mirrors :)
I had a close call last week when I found a ~1.25" screw in my almost-new General Grabber. It must have been buried in the lug meat at juuuuust the right angle, I was fully expecting an angry hiss when I pulled it out but after a soapy water test and no pressure loss it seems good. Wheew!

I think it is a feature/flaw of your particular sensor.

I squeezed the crap out of mine and nothing.

Not sure. They’re oem denso sensors. I never tried with any other units. First try went easy so I made the assumption it would work across the board.

I would love this method to work. It certainly doesn't with the knock off sensors from Amazon.

It might be worth picking up an oem just to not have to deal with this

2nd gen 2009 here. I removed the dash display and removed the lightbulb. Previous to that I had some electrical tape taped over the illuminated lamp. I don't have a problem with TPMS per se, but I have 2 sets of wheels and didn't feel like spending cash on more TPMS sensors. Doesn't throw anything off removing the bulb.

That's another solution for a different problem. We're just trying to take care of the spare without a pipe bomb.

I find the other 4 sensors useful.
