TPMS saved my bacon today. Picked up a nail and a slow leak with about 100 miles of nothing in front of me and a tire shop 20 miles behind me. TPMS let me know I had an issue probably about 30 miles sooner than I would have detected otherwise. Saved us about 60-90 minutes of, either transit in the wrong direction + backtrack, or putting on the spare.

I’ve had mixed thoughts on TPMS over the years, and still not a huge fan of the binary systems on older and cheaper cars, but the current system just paid for itself in my opinion.

Zion Bound! Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend

I've told this story before, but my boss was driving over the pass in his duramax towing a boat, cruising with traffic in the fast lane around 75 mph. Tpms light comes on, he starts getting over to the right shoulder, about sixty seconds later coming to a stop the right front tire explodes. Absolutely saved a possible huge accident
