Does anyone have a monitoring system that displays tire pressure? If so, do you recommend it?

Pretty sure it has come on every 2nd gen model as well as 3rd gens off the lot. If you don't have them, then you should have a light on the dash illuminated.
They are nice to have but not a necessity.

Second gen it’s just a dummy light, I believe on the 3rd gen it shows tire pressure.

I know about the TPMS warning light, I’m wanting a device that shows the actual tire pressure reading. In the above pic on the Scanguage on the right is your left front tire reading 0 pressure?

I'm pretty sure Ultragauge has the PID's to get it to display pressure and some aftermarket headunits will display it with a CAN Bus adaptor (Maestro?) but I'm happy with my old school, simple Scan Gauge.

I installed a TPMS system on my RV. Has the in tire sensors and a wireless monitor.
It works really well. Displays tire pressures and temps. Audible warning for over temp and low tire pressures.
Also, you program whatever tire pressures you want.
    This is what I have...

The Kenwood head units in both of my a Tacomas have iDatalink Maestro modules installed, so we get TPMS pressure and temperature data with tire location stored in memory. I have the steering wheel buttons programmed to display TPMS data by single-pressing the down button, and other gauges by single-pressing the up button.
    Highly recommended.

Also, TPMS was mandated in 2006+, so 2005 models didn't come with TPMS.

I have a new Pioneer head unit that ties into the OBDII and displays actual pressure for each tire

I took that pic right after I got my OBD2 splitter installed. 2 of my TPMS sensors were sitting on my office desk.

I replaced a Honda CR-V because the TPMS was screwed up and I wanted my wife to have something she could rely on. Due to the faulty system in the Honda we had to replace 4 tires. Now I find many wireless TPMS devices are available for around $50, some higher. Reading some of the reviews on Amazon I learned a bit. Apparently not all sensors work at low temperatures. Some apparently are not waterproof. Many have a readout indicating the pressure in each tire. Since the batteries in the TPMS sensors of my Tacoma are dead and replacement is expensive, I am thinking about getting one of those devices.

A lot of them are cheeseball valvestem caps that depress the valve core all the time. This just seems like a leak waiting to happen.

Yeah...you get what you pay for and tires and their components are too important for me to cheap out on.

If it leaks, I would expect the monitor to report it. None of the reviews I read mentioned that as a problem. I am more concerned about the reviews that mention poor reliability, tho some of the manufacturers seem to be anxious to take care of the problems.
