This harness is for the 2020+
    It’s a different harness for 2019-earlier

@destin_meeks I’ve noticed that the key180 is becoming unavailable in some stores, is the key200 replacing it?

Do you think there would be a noticeable difference between the two for my system... Kicker DS 6x9’s and 6.75’s & Subaru Tweeters?

    TIA

The 200 is replacing the 180

I believe the 200 has a few improvements over the 180 aside from power that make it worth it in my opinion. The 180 was version 1 and now we get an update to version 2

looks like the cheap ticket is $650 round trip, which seems a bit of a steep install fee for the Key lol

That’s a good ticket right there from AL, good news is you only need two COVID tests and you don’t need to quarantine after tomorrow... never know I might be able to work again

while I'll never tell someone NOT to run a dedicated power and ground, I never did it for the Key while I was installing. If you're willing to, go for it

The fuse isn't really necessary when getting power from the factory wiring because that run is already fused. For the ground, people are tying it in with the factory ground wire

I ended up getting it, bundle deal, it may just sit in a drawer but better to have it vs not. I'm sure once I get everything in front of me it'll all make sense. @DamGuide is holding my hand through this also

So, next question...if not getting a power line dedicated from the battery where would be the most sensible place to get power?

Thanks! I wasn’t sure if the power in the 2020 was the same...

power for the 2020 is over in a different harness. I'll be honest, I would just run power to the battery if you already bought the kit. It's an easy firewall to get through

Can anyone confirm if the steps in the first post, and the harnesses needed/wiring of harnesses, will work for a 2020? I’ve heard that the harnesses are a different setup in the 2020, but figured asking here would be best.

I'm just going through the process, hopefully will install in the next few days. You need a 'add an amp' harness from taco toones.

If you click right on this quote it'll take you to the beginning of my questioning this thread. I've asked plenty of questions and some very nice people have answered...

It looks correct at a cursory glance, just keep track of your wire colors and don’t lose track of what’s input and what’s output.

@Philrab thank you so much. I will keep an eye. Will use speed wires to connect to LC7i.

You did repin the wire for illumination per the instructions right? That’s the one part I can’t tell from pics.
