Minimum tps with the engine running, foot not touching the pedal, is showing up as mostly no lower than 16% and with the pedal to the floor the highest I see is 81.2%.

Truck idles at roughly 700-750 or so. (Norma)

    No codes for tps etc

What tf is going on here?

That's pretty normal for an electronic throttle body, your looking at absolute throttle position not accelerator pedal position.

TPS at idle is gona be however far the PCM needs to keep the throttle open to maintain desired idle speed and they they don't go much over 80-85% at WOT

Idle TPS might be a bit high depending on engine load which may suggest the throttle body is getting a bit dirty so the PCM is having to open it more to maintain desired idle.

Understood. Was curious if it was something like that. Never had to diagnose anything on my 2017 taco or 2019 4runner. Now I'm restoring this 2006 Taco (which lead me to reviewing data) and I'm positive it's going to need a transmission soon.
