Welcome to TPW (The Parts Whore) Group-Buy From 10/31/11 - 11/08/11

    • A higher number of thinner leafs provides a smoother, progressive spring rate compared to fewer, thicker leaves
    • Double "military" wrap provides extra strength for the main leaf
    • "Torque Leaf", an extra half-leaf at the top of the spring pack, increases anti-wrap properties without hindering travel or ride quality
    • Diamond-cut leaf ends to eliminate stress points which may weaken leafs and lead to premature failure
    • Teflon anti-friction pads between leafs provide smoother flex, lessen spring wear and reduce noise
    • Leafs are shot-peened after forming to relieve stress
    • Every completed spring pack is pre-cycled to their travel extremity for quality control and to reduce the likelihood of initial sag
    • Comprehensive 12-month warranty for non-racing applications when properly installed
    1995.5 - 2004 All-Pro 3" Standard Duty / Expedition Heavy Duty Leaf Springs

Our '98-'04 Tacoma rear leaf springs are factory length. These springs have a special torque leaf to reduce axle wrap. Springs come with new poly bushings and sleeves. Mounting our springs on '95-'97 Tacoma's will require new front spring hangers 2" forward (hole to hole) from stock, and the rear shackle hangers moved back 1". All-Pro's standard duty leaf springs are NOT designed for heavy weight carrying capability. They are designed for ride quality and flex. For those carrying heavier loads such as rigs fully loaded for long-term expeditions, there's an expedition heavy duty springs available.

    2005 - 2011 All-Pro 3" Standard Duty / Expedition Heavy Duty Leaf Springs

All-Pro Off Road now offers a heavy duty "Expedition" version of its popular rear leaf springs for Toyota Tacomas. Long known for the superior quality and off-road performance of their standard duty leaf springs, All-Pro's new Expedition leafs are specifically designed to combine off-road performance with heavy duty weight carrying capacity. The popular expedition style trend in off-road vehicles is resulting in trucks that are carrying heavier loads than normally seen off-road. Specialized long-distance excursion gear such as roof-top tents, recovery and repair gear, camping equipment and extra water and fluids can add significantly to the cargo weight of expedition vehicles, exceeding the intended operating parameters of typical performance leaf springs.

All-Pro's Expedition Leaf Springs feature a 20% higher spring rate than their standard leaf springs. They are otherwise identical in dimension and quality, providing the same eye-to-eye measurements and wheel travel. On unloaded Tacomas, they will result in a 1" taller stance than the stated lift height of 3". The stated lift height is maintained with loads of 400-500 lbs of cargo.

Damn it... I need new leafs... Shipping would kill me at PR I think though.

In any case. Would these be better than the Dakars in terms of carrying capacity? I am not really looking for flex, I am looking for something that will handle all the weight I put in the bed. I guess the 3" lift will be a plus...

From what I understand, the expeditions are actually 4", but give you 3" once you have 400-500lbs in the bed. They're better for towing. and if you have a lot of shit in your truck at all times.

Hmmm. Well I do usually have about 600+ LB on my bed... but I do like to empty it out in the weekend. Thinking these won't be for me. :(

Oh well. Enjoy them to the others that buy.

97yota4wd - I'll check tomorrow if they have any 50T sets available.

I Liquid I - You can always go with the standard 3" instead of the expedition.

Hmmm. Will they hold the same or more weight than the OEM leafs? I am torn between these and Dakars. Only reason I had not bought Dakars was because shipping was absolutely ridiculous. It was more than the Dakars themselves...

Roughly the same, maybe a hair less. Shipping on these is between $80 - $140 depends on your location.
