So for the past month I've had some intermittent issues and I'm not sure if they're related or not.

First, randomly the "Trac Off" light comes on along with the check engine light. When this happens I can no longer use cruise control. Then (sometimes in conjunction with the Trac Off issue and sometimes separately from it) I'll shift to drive but there's no "D" on display on the dash. If I switch to S-Mode it will flash 4th gear for a second and then go blank. If I put it back in drive the D flashes for a second and goes blank. Again, I can't use cruise control when this happens.

Anyone else ever had this problem or know what might be the culprit? Thanks.

I should also note that the rear sensors went bad so my cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring were not working. Even out of warranty Toyota replaced them, which is great. I'm actually going to pick it up in a bit because of that. Maybe the sensors were causing that issue as well?

Does the CEL stay on for an extended period when it comes on? If so, have you ever pulled the codes to see what comes up?

Yeah, it'll stay on for days but no codes are thrown. The dealership guy said it's probably because of the faulty sensors that they replaced. I guess I'll just see what happens. Hopefully that is the culprit.

Noted. If it does it again I'll mention that to the service guy.
