Trac Off and engine light came on

    I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L and just installed afe cold air intake and my TracOff and check engine light came on.....this isn't normal is it?

    Lifted, Kings, Locked, 295s and more.
    You have an air leak at the map sensor and your stock air intake was a CAI. Take that crap off and go back to stock, clear the code and you will be good. Good luck with your truck.

    The only issues I had with my K&N cold air intake was I had to reset my idle I was at 1500, after reset back down to 750-800

    usually engine codes will trip trac light/abs on most vehs. fault codes in ecm will trigger the other computers to switch off stability or traction controls, some kind of built in safety feature I guess
