    I have a 2016 Toyota Tacoma the light, check engine, came on and the Trac off is on try to shift to reverse and drive. It also feels hard when you move it up and down is this a transmission problem ? I got this !

    You need to get a OBDII code reader, or take it to a local Auto Parts store and have them read the codes. That will give you a much better idea of what the issues are.
