Looking for input on the merits or cons of using a set of Trac Racks vs. Xsporter on my 2012 SB for hauling a couple of Kayaks and SUP boards. Thanks in advance for any advice or direction...

I just bought and installed the TracOne (with the Tacoma adaptor kit of course). Pretty easy to assemble and install - everything fit as advertised - no cutting or modifying anything on the truck. It feels very solid and I think looks pretty good. I chose it over the Xsporter simply because it was a lot less expensive. I got mine from Amazon for about $450.00, free 2 day shipping. I even managed to fit some old Yakima kayak racks on it - although at some point will probably have to figure out a more secure system. Either way, as you can see, I have 3 boats up there with room for more and they just survived a 4 hour drive to NH without issue - nice and solid.

Don't know how I missed this reply but Thanks for the info.

Managed to score a used Xsporter from a fellow Tacoma owner so now on to setting up a system to haul 2 kayaks and a paddleboard...
