Track Off light and check Engine light on together for a 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4X4

the trac off light and engine light came on while driving at the same time and didnt have a manual when I bought it from a Chevy dealer in Georgia. Bought it New with 2000 mike in it so they sold it as is also didn’t think anything would be wrong with it m. Did anyone have the same symptoms with thier truck

Number one thing you need to do so folks on here can help you: get a fault code reader plugged into the truck so everyone knows what's causing the check engine light. Please post the code(s). If you're really desperate right now maybe you could pick one up at Walmart if there's one near you.

Not sure how much help that will be, there's only a limited amount of info on the Trac Off light (pages 268, 269 mainly)
