I use an app on my iPhone called gas cubby to track mine. I record it every time I fill up.

I keep the book for the maintenance and have an android app simply called Mileage to keep track of all the fuel usage statistics.

I use Fuelly for the gas mileage, amount spent, that kinda stuff. I've got a book in the truck where I put oil changes, new tires, rotations, brakes, etc. etc. etc.

I was keeping track of mine when I first got the Tacoma. Now I only track once in a while on long trips.

I recommend that you forget about it and drive it like you stole it!!!

    Cheers. :D
