I'm not the smartest person in the world, but just got my Tracrac adapters in the mail today (kept Tracrac from my Silverado) and I can't see how to get them around the tonneau cover mounts. Anyone use this:

I would unmount the rails, move the adapter into place and reinstall. Assuming you aren't going to be installing, removing these often.

    T30 torx btw.

You could also probably remove the bed cap and move the to move mounting out of the way.

Looks like you can either have the tracrac or the hard tonneau, but not both.

Oh yeah, the tonneau wouldn't sit flush on the bed because the tracrac would protrude. Didn't think of that.

Will the KB VooDoo tall bedrack do what you need the TracRac for? If so, they have an adapter so you can use their bedrack and tonneau both. Can't open the tonneau but it would be there to protect whatever is in the bed if accessing it from the tailgate works for you.

I don't mind taking the tonneau off (rack only used for kayaks), but you can't have the mounting 'poles' sticking out for the hard tonneau connection and use the tracrac mount.

With the KB Voodoo setup, you can leave the brackets and use the tonneau for day to day use. Then when you need to haul the kayaks, put the rack on the brackets and load the kayaks. That way you are not removing that tonneau mount from the bed to put the Tracrac bracket one and then needing to store your tonneau while you are off kayaking.
